Taizhou-based pump manufacturer Leo Group recently inked a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia at the 10th Arab-China Business Conference, which took place in Riyadh.

Under the agreement, Leo Group and Saudi Arabia will jointly explore various cooperation opportunities related to pumps, heat pumps, energy storage, and photovoltaics.

Wang Xiangrong, chairman of Leo Group, expressed optimism about the future collaboration between the two parties in areas of mutual interest, particularly mechanical manufacturing and new energy.

Leo Group has been at the forefront of global expansion since the early 2000s. With a track record of delivering safe and efficient pump and system solutions, the company has garnered a customer base of over 500 million users across 150 countries and regions worldwide.

The Middle East market holds significant strategic importance for Leo as it aims to expand beyond its roots in Wenling, a county-level city in Taizhou, and embrace the global market. This expansion initiative saw the establishment of Leo's Middle East branch in Dubai back in 2014, where the company leased warehouses to ensure speedy supply to customers in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Ethiopia, and Tanzania.

Leo Group was also selected as the only pump company to provide water supply equipment to the fan village during the 2022 Qatar World Cup. This accomplishment has undoubtedly influenced the decision of the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia to collaborate with the company.
