Zhongwei Precision Industry Co Ltd showcased its plasma liquid nano polishing (PLNP) technology at the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum recently held in China.

As a national high-tech enterprise, Zhongwei focuses on the research and development of PLNP and intelligent equipment manufacturing. The company has 35 independent intellectual property rights.

A year ago, Zhongwei's wholly-owned subsidiary Zhongwei Precision Industry (Zhejiang) Co Ltd set up operations in Quzhou and now has three workshops and 12 self-designed PLNP-1800C automatic cup polishing production lines. They can polish the inner cavities of about 25,000 cups every day.

"Compared with traditional electrolytic polishing technology, products polished by PLNP technology are more environmentally friendly and beneficial to human health," said He Jian, general manager of Zhongwei Precision Industry (Zhejiang) Co Ltd.

The company boasts directional research and development technical strength for various metal materials. It can adjust the formula and process parameters according to different materials and structures for PLNP polishing.

For example, the company has pioneered the PLNP polishing of metal tungsten grating chips in China, and the polishing effects fully meet the product's technical requirements.

"The company is organizing a group standard drafting team for PLNP Process Specification for Stainless Steel Insulation Cup Liner and striving to upgrade it to a national standard within three years. By the end of this year, the company will put another 20 PLNP production lines into operation according to market demand," added He.
