Zhejiang continues to develop foreign trade
The first business delegation of 2024 from East China's Zhejiang province embarked on its mission for the new year on Jan 4, led by the Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, to explore overseas markets in Hong Kong and increase orders for Zhejiang companies.
The delegation, comprising 24 enterprises from places like Yongjia county and Longgang district, secured a total of 39 exhibition spots.
The 50th HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, commencing on Jan 8, is currently Asia's largest and the world's second-largest international toy exhibition.
In the previous edition, it attracted over 51,036 buyers from 126 countries and regions, along with more than 2,100 exhibitors. The fair serves as a significant showcase for Wenzhou businesses looking to enter the Asia-Pacific market.
The case of this business delegation highlights Zhejiang's continued efforts to expand markets and increasing orders. In the first quarter of 2024, more than 50 delegations, with over 1,000 enterprises, will be organized to travel overseas for market exploration. Across 2024, the province aims to organize over 1,000 delegations and send more than 10,000 enterprises abroad in such endeavors.
