Post-2000s generation sit in on Zhejiang's 'two sessions'
During Zhejiang's "two sessions" in 2024, a series of activities was organized, including inviting the post-2000s generation — young people born after 2000 — to sit in on the two sessions.
Through close dialogue with lawmakers and advisors, these young observers are able to watch closely how public opinion reaches the two sessions.
They experienced firsthand how members of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the 14th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress contribute to the development of Zhejiang and work to improve people's lives.
The work of these members covers a variety of sectors, including laboratories, classrooms, traditional industries, emerging industries, and urban and rural areas.
The second session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and the second session of the 14th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress, commonly known as the "two sessions", opened on Jan 22 and 23 respectively.
