The signing ceremony for the letter of intent to establish friendly city ties between Qingyuan county in Lishui, Zhejiang province and Brunete in Spain was held at the Spanish city on Feb 23.

The two parties engaged in discussions and exchanges on enhancing bilateral cooperation in multiple fields and at multiple levels as well as other issues of common concern. Both sides unanimously agreed to promote the establishment of friendly city relations between Qingyuan and Brunete.

Located in central Spain, Brunete has a long history and beautiful landscapes. Its service industries such as tourism and finance are well-developed, and its agricultural industry features a high level of modernization.

In recent years, Qingyuan has been steadfast in promoting high-level opening-up to the outside world and has established friendly relationships with several foreign cities.

By signing the letter of intent, Qingyuan is committed to carrying out exchanges and cooperation with Brunete in the fields of economy, technology, tourism, and education, promoting mutual prosperity and development.
