Haining's home textile industry, a local economic pillar, has gained global recognition through the expo, which has been held for 23 years over 29 sessions.

Xu Mingliang, Party secretary of Haining, highlighted Haining's nearly 40-year journey to becoming the largest home textile fabric production base in China and the world's largest jacquard home textile center. With the establishment of innovative textile centers and collaborations with institutions like Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Haining aims to consolidate its position as a hub for high-end textile production and design.

The expo also celebrated the integration of traditional craftsmanship with modern fashion. The horse-face skirt's popularity exemplifies this blend, as local businesses incorporate brocade satin techniques into their designs, revitalizing the market and charting a new course for the industry.
