Progress is unmistakable with Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway's Wenzhou North Station entering its final phase of interior and exterior decorations, scheduled for completion by May. Similarly, Nanxi River Station is nearing its completion, with finishing touches being applied to its facade and interior.
Spanning 260 kilometers and designed for speeds of up to 350 km per hour, the railway will connect Tonglu East, Pujiang, Yiwu, Hengdian, Pan'an, Xianju, Nanxi River, Wenzhou North, and Wenzhou South stations. Operations are scheduled to commence in June.
Notably, the Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway will integrate with the existing Huzhou-Hangzhou Railway, offering valuable connectivity.
The Hangzhou West Railway Station, a newly-built station of the Huzhou-Hangzhou Railway, is also poised to launch. This new addition will significantly shorten travel times, with trips from Hangzhou to Wenzhou taking approximately one hour.
The impending inauguration of Hangzhou West Station and the Hangzhou-Wenzhou high-speed railway will herald a new era of connectivity between these bustling cities. Passengers will enjoy direct routes from Hangzhou West Station to various destinations including Yiwu and Hengdian, making it more accessible and efficient for commuters.
