Douyin's latest e-commerce report reveals that Yiwu's jewelry industry is a national standout, ranking second in the list of the top 10 most popular industrial belt products.

The city's market is a global trendsetter for fashion accessories, boasting over 8,000 related enterprises, including 3,000 manufacturers. With a product range exceeding 800,000 types, Yiwu's jewelry is exported worldwide, contributing over 30 percent to  China's nationwide jewelry industry and solidifying its status as one of the largest production bases globally.

Yiwu's synergy with e-commerce, especially livestreaming platforms like Douyin, is evident in its dense commercial activity, rich product sources, and advanced logistics. The city's alignment with Douyin's model was further cemented with the establishment of the first Douyin E-Commerce Industrial Belt Service Center last September, aiming to maximize business opportunities and services for its 600,000 e-commerce entities.

The city has also cultivated diverse industry clusters, including knitting, clothing, zippers, wool spinning, printing, pen-making, crafts, and toys. Yiwu's focus on integrating livestreaming e-commerce with these industries has led to the creation of livestreaming bases and associations, fostering a thriving environment for businesses to capitalize on the live-streaming boom.
