The Shaoxing Keqiao Week was held in Hong Kong from March 6 to 7, fostering deeper ties between Hong Kong and Keqiao, a district renowned for its textile industry.
The highlight of the event was the Shaoxing Keqiao (Hong Kong) Economic, Trade, Culture and Tourism Promotion Event, where the launch of bilateral economic, cultural, and tourism cooperation between Hong Kong and Keqiao was officially announced.
The event saw the signing of five major cooperation projects encompassing water treatment systems, textile digital manufacturing, international fashion brands, and cultural and tourism strategic partnerships.
In addition to the trade and textile showcase, the event was enriched by performances from Shaoxing artists, who brought traditional local operas such as Yueju Opera to the Hong Kong stage.
Officials from Keqiao expressed their hope that this event would serve as a catalyst for showcasing Keqiao's development strengths and investment environment. They aim to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong in areas such as high-end project docking, talent resource development, and innovation achievement transformation.
