The inaugural Zhuji International Anime Carnival concluded with resounding success, attracting nearly 10,000 visitors to Zhuji, Shaoxing, from March 9 to 10.
This carnival not only provided a platform for anime enthusiasts to showcase themselves and participate in community culture but also offered creators and businesses an excellent opportunity to exhibit and sell creative derivative products.
"After exploring Zhuji thoroughly, I must say it's a beautiful place, with a charm unlike anything I've seen in Shanghai," said anime enthusiast Huang Huitong.
In addition to the anime culture, specialty snacks like Xi Shi Tofu delighted many visitors.
Nearby hotels, such as Manju Hotel, witnessed a significant surge in occupancy rates. The hotel manager revealed that out of the 164 rooms, 140 were booked before the carnival, marking more than a doubling of the usual occupancy rate.
