Honghe town in Xiuzhou district, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, is making waves in the global knitwear market. Recently, 19,092 pieces of knitwear departed from Honghe town, bound for Chile. This marked a significant milestone as it is the first time such a feat has been achieved through Honghe's own platform using the cross-border e-commerce "9710" model.

The "9710" model enables domestic companies to showcase products and connect directly with foreign enterprises for online communication, ordering, and payment processes, simplifying the export procedure.

This transaction, facilitated by the Honghe cross-border e-commerce platform Maoshanpai, represents a breakthrough for Jiaxing Oulin Import and Export Co Ltd, opening up opportunities in South America's knitwear market.

In countries like Chile, knitwear sales systems are less developed, making it challenging for foreign merchants to access product information. The Maoshanpai platform streamlines this process, allowing overseas buyers to browse products and place orders conveniently.

Established by the Honghe government, State-owned assets, and enterprises, the Maoshanpai platform offers knitwear enterprises one-stop export services, enhancing their global competitiveness. This initiative not only reduces barriers for small and medium-sized enterprises but also fosters direct communication with international buyers.

Honghe's exploration of the overseas knitwear market began in 2023 with economic and trade delegations visiting Hungary, Poland, and Italy to establish exhibition halls and warehouses.

The establishment of Maoshanpai and the expansion of overseas sales channels are integral to Honghe's strategy to enhance its presence in the global market and explore emerging markets in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America.
