Grapefruit industry flourishes in Quzhou

As March transitions into April, the air becomes filled with the enticing aroma of ripe grapefruits in Quzhou, Zhejiang province.
In Changshan county, the seasonal delight has reached its pinnacle, driving both fresh grapefruit sales and the demand for processed grapefruit products to unprecedented heights. Within the premises of Yuzu Valley's manufacturing hub, forklifts are ferrying packaged Yuzu Juice onto waiting trucks.
"Since the start of this year, our order books have remained consistently full, with our dedicated workforce working tirelessly to ensure timely production and delivery," said Song Wei, chairman of Yuzu Valley Co.

The 15-year journey of Yuzu Valley reflects the arduous path of growth and expansion within the Changshan grapefruit industry chain.
From fresh fruit to the present era of intense competition, including popular products like grapefruit tea and dried fruits, Yuzu Valley has steadfastly pursued avenues of innovation and deep processing, thereby propelling its industry chain to new heights.
Changshan has emerged as a hub of innovation, boasting a diverse portfolio of nearly a hundred products across eight distinct categories, ranging from culinary delights to health essentials. This comprehensive utilization of grapefruits has led to an industry chain with a total output value surpassing 4.5 billion yuan ($624 million), providing employment opportunities for nearly 100,000 individuals.
