Recently, the Liangxiang 85, constructed by a heavy industry enterprise in Taizhou, Zhejiang province for a shipping company in Xiamen, Fujian province, was successfully launched under the inspection of the China Classification Society in Taizhou.

The Liangxiang 85 has a total length of 228 meters, with a molded breadth and depth of 40 meters and 19.6 meters, respectively. It is the largest tonnage international container ship in the shipbuilding history of Taizhou, with a capacity to carry 4,600 standard containers.

The vessel meets the latest international standards for ballast water management and low noise environment, making it a technologically advanced and environmentally friendly high-end container ship.

According to the owner's plan, once completed, the ship will be deployed on a new route between China and Arabian Peninsula, further deepening economic and trade cooperation between China and Arab countries.
