Zhejiang gears up for 7th CIIE
From Nov 5 to 10, the 7th China International Import Expo will take place in Shanghai, with Zhejiang province mobilizing over 43,000 professional buyers and more than 14,000 companies.
Zhejiang's purchasing focus spans key sectors, with 33.9 percent of buyers from the food and agricultural industries, 24.2 percent from tech and equipment, and 18.6 percent from consumer goods.
Additional buyers from the automotive, medical, and healthcare sectors will also attend, underscoring Zhejiang's broad interests in sourcing new international products and services.
Zhejiang has even assembled a specialized delegation of academics, healthcare professionals, and educators to gain insights into global technological advancements and form new partnerships.
During the expo, Zhejiang will host the "2024 China Zhejiang Global Digital Economy and High-tech Industry Summit", focusing on digital economy, innovative production, and technology to facilitate dialogue between Zhejiang's and international companies.
As part of its commitment to promoting cultural heritage, Zhejiang will showcase the Vibrant Zhejiang pavilion, this year emphasizing historic industries, with 63 exhibits highlighting traditional products such as traditional Chinese medicine, silk, celadon, and tea.
