As the 7th China International Import Expo opens in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10, Zhejiang province returns for its seventh year with the "Vibrant Zhejiang" exhibition area, presenting the province's rich heritage.
The area features 63 classic Zhejiang products, including yellow rice wine, traditional Chinese medicine, silk, stone carvings, celadon, handcrafted brushes, swords, and tea.
Representing cultural continuity and economic importance, the area includes 23 China Time-honored Brands, 13 Zhejiang Time-honored Brands, and more than 30 nationally and provincially recognized intangible cultural heritage items.
The yellow rice wine on display from Shaoxing reflects centuries-old brewing traditions. Known for its layered flavor and artisanal craftsmanship, yellow rice wine exemplifies how Zhejiang's heritage industries balance tradition with modernity.
