Ugandan student in awe of Hangzhou's legacy, wisdom
Angumya Edgar, an international student from Uganda, visited the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City on April 23 in Hangzhou's Yuhang district. He was captivated by the site's 5,000-year-old hydraulic system — recognized as China's earliest large-scale water management project.
Driven by a deep passion for cultural preservation, Edgar also attended the opening ceremony of the Third UNESCO High-Level Forum for Museums, held in Yuhang. The forum serves as a global platform for interactive dialogue on the preservation and sustainable development of cultural heritage.
