China's first full-chain commercial satellite "supermarket", launched in April in Hangzhou's Cloud Town, has seen a strong market response in its first month.
The Dongfanghong Curated Supermarket, backed by the China Academy of Space Technology, offers over 200 products — ranging from satellite platforms to components — through a combined online-offline platform.
One product, the lightweight flexible solar wing, has already led to partnerships with multiple aerospace firms, becoming a star item in the store's debut month.
The platform has attracted over 40 delegations, including government bodies, leading aerospace enterprises, and key industry players. It also features China's first online satellite product marketplace, enabling end-to-end services from display to transaction.
This initiative reflects Hangzhou's push to lead in commercial aerospace innovation by fostering integration across government, industry, academia, and finance, accelerating the transformation of space tech into real-world productivity.
