Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province launched its first integrated service station for inbound tourists on June 25, as part of the city's broader effort to enhance visitor convenience.

The International Services Ningbo station, located at the international arrivals exit of Terminal 2 at Ningbo Lishe International Airport, is a joint initiative by the Ningbo Airport Group and the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism.

The station brings together six essential services — including payment solutions, mobile communication services, transport guidance, luggage handling, travel information, and insurance — under one roof.

Visitors can also access multilingual maps, Wi-Fi, ticket bookings, currency exchange, emergency kits, rain gear, and even sewing supplies — all designed to make international travel smoother and more welcoming.

This station is part of a wider initiative. Since 2023, Ningbo has rolled out a wave of tourist-friendly upgrades, from curated cultural travel routes and creative consumption hubs to immediate tax refund services and broader access to foreign card payments. The city has also partnered with Shanghai and other cities to develop tailored inbound travel packages.

In the first five months of 2025, inbound passengers at Ningbo Lishe International Airport increased by 27.64 percent year-on-year, while the number of short-stay foreign visitors in the city rose by 12 percent.
