The initiative also supports the internationalization of higher education and the application of innovative outcomes.
Over 100 representatives from universities, member institutions, student management offices, and international students attended the inaugural meeting.
Yiwu has been a pioneer in reforms to facilitate foreign investment and entrepreneurship. Local measures have focused on attracting talent, retaining talent, fostering integration, and ensuring effective management.
Initiatives include linking vocational skills training with work permit policies, creating an international youth entrepreneurship incubator, and expanding services covering social security, healthcare, and housing.
Yiwu has also set up new mechanisms for addressing labor disputes in the international trade sector, aiming to build an optimal environment for international youth innovation and entrepreneurship.
