'Straight to Wuzhen' competition held in Hong Kong
The Asia-Pacific semifinal of the 2025 "Straight to Wuzhen" Global Internet Competition was held on Oct 10 at Hong Kong Cyberport.
Nearly 100 projects from across the Asia-Pacific registered for the event. After expert review, 12 projects from Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong advanced to the semifinal, with entries spanning frontier fields such as AI, digital healthcare, and smart devices.
During the semifinal, industry experts evaluated each project based on technological foresight, business model, and social value. Five projects — Global AlGC Creator Ecosystem Platform, E3A Healthcare, Doctoroncall, and xSpaces Metaverse, among others — secured spots in the global final to be held in Wuzhen town, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province.
