The Italian company Zilmet began operations at its Jiaxing production base on Oct 29, marking a major addition to the international industrial cluster at Nanhu High-Tech Zone in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province.
Since signing in June 2023, the project has received comprehensive support from the Jiaxing Nanhu High-Tech Zone. With more than 70 years of global experience, Zilmet has brought its advanced production lines and core technologies in expansion tanks and plate heat exchangers to the Yangtze River Delta region.
The project involves a total investment of $45 million and a registered capital of $15 million, with a 15,000-square-meter standardized plant. Its annual output value is expected to exceed 100 million yuan ($14 million), further strengthening the region's high-end equipment manufacturing industry chain.
The opening ceremony drew about 120 participants, including representatives from global companies such as Vanward, Bosch, and Haier. Zilmet plans to integrate advanced technologies and attract high-quality partners to foster industrial synergy within the high-tech zone.
Driven by an efficient and enterprise-oriented service system, Nanhu High-Tech Zone has become a magnet for international investors. Companies from Luxembourg, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States have established operations here in fields including high-end equipment, renewable energy, and industrial services.
