A new e-commerce industrial park opened on Nov 7 in Shengzhou, Shaoxing, marking the transformation of this hub of ties into a modern e-commerce hub.

Founded in 1992, the area was once the nation's center for ties, fabrics, and related products. However, as market dynamics shifted and the e-commerce economy grew, many businesses gradually moved out. This landmark area now finds itself at the heart of a new transformation.

The park will focus on developing livestreaming and e-commerce to drive digital transformation across related industries, with 49 businesses already settled in, spanning key sectors such as ties, apparel, and smart kitchenware.

The park also features a specialized e-commerce training platform that offers online courses and regular workshops led by industry experts and livestreaming influencers. These sessions can help businesses expand their online sales channels and explore new paths for digital development.
