At Ningbo Sci-tech and Cultural Innovation Harbor's talent home, the familiar Huangmei Opera The Female Prince Consort echoed through the hall. The audience was astonished when the singer turned out to be Fellahi Safae, a Moroccan student at Ningbo University, whose precise tones perfectly captured the essence of this traditional Chinese art form.

On Nov 30, the event "In Ningbo Enjoy!" international talent Chinese skills showcase gathered participants from 10 countries, including Morocco, Cuba, South Korea, Liberia, Italy, and Germany. Through storytelling, dance, song, and opera, they demonstrated their progress in learning Chinese and their ability to express themselves across cultures.

Activities like this aim to enhance the sense of belonging and life satisfaction among foreign professionals in the city. By combining policy briefings, cultural experiences, and talent displays, Ningbo provides a platform for exchange that helps international residents better integrate and appreciate local life.

Ningbo is introducing measures such as streamlined work and residence permits, permanent residency recommendations, education support for children, medical security, Chinese language training, and social integration programs. Together, these initiatives build a welcoming ecosystem for global talent.

Looking ahead, Ningbo has pledged to continue fostering an open environment and comprehensive services, inviting innovators from around the world to pursue careers, start businesses, and build fulfilling lives in the city.
