Zhejiang province released its new environment and health-friendly logo on Dec 5 in Anji county, Huzhou.

According to the Zhejiang Environmental Protection Bureau, the design blends blue and green stripes into the shape of an "E", representing the environment and symbolizing the province's blue skies, green waters, and mountain landscapes. Warm orange and bright yellow form an interwoven "H" for health, conveying vitality and hope.

The two letters intertwine like a handshake, expressing the mutual reinforcement between a healthy environment and human well-being. At the center, a golden dot evokes a pulsing heartbeat and a shared core, underscoring that people are at the heart of all development efforts.

Officials said the logo will serve both as a public-facing emblem of the province's environment-health integration and as a catalyst for branding efforts across related industries.

The next step is to standardize its use and promote its adoption in products and public communications, helping expand the reach of environmental and health-friendly practices.
