The Ministry of Education has approved the establishment of the San Bernardino Institute of Technology at Taizhou University, according to the list of approved China-foreign cooperative institutions and programs for the second half of 2025.

The institute is jointly established by Taizhou University and California State University, San Bernardino, and will provide undergraduate-level education.

Majors offered include applied chemistry, biological sciences, and environmental ecological engineering.
