Quzhou's GDP grows by 5.5% in 2025
The Quzhou municipal bureau of statistics has released data on the city's 2025 economic performance. The city's GDP reached 240.16 billion yuan ($34.53 billion), representing a 5.5 percent increase compared to the previous year.
The total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fisheries in the city amounted to 16.36 billion yuan, reflecting a 4.3 percent rise year-on-year.
Industrial sectors saw the added value from enterprises above the designated size — those with annual main business revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.84 million) or more — increase by 5.5 percent year-on-year.
Key industries experienced substantial growth, with the automotive manufacturing sector expanding by 51.8 percent; computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing by 30.3 percent; and chemical raw materials and products manufacturing by 10.5 percent.
The service sector's added value grew by 6.8 percent over the year. Within this sector, transportation, warehousing, and postal services rose by 10.5 percent; information transmission, software, and information technology services by 8.5 percent; financial services by 7.3 percent; and wholesale and retail by 7.0 percent.
Retail sales of consumer goods totaled 111.51 billion yuan, a 5.0 percent increase.
Urban residents' per capita disposable income was 66,658 yuan, up 4.9 percent, while rural residents' per capita disposable income was 38,009 yuan, up 5.0 percent. The income ratio between urban and rural residents narrowed slightly to 1.75.
