A Taizhou-based aquatic product company has recently been selected to participate in a national program aimed at promoting standardized demonstration projects for high-quality agricultural development, as announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

Zhejiang Hongye Marine Products Co Ltd, located in Xiasha village in the county-level city of Linhai, has been chosen to be a part of this program which involved a total of 178 companies and industrial associations nationwide.

The company occupies an expansive area of over 3,000 mu ( about 200 hectares) and is home to an innovative umbrella-style breeding pond that covers 1,200 mu. This pioneering facility allows the company to achieve an impressive annual yield of 3,000 kilograms per mu for white-leg shrimp farming.

Hongye is a leader in the adoption of ecological seawater aquaculture technology for white-leg shrimp farming and is actively promoting the green transformation of aquaculture wastewater treatment.

With its inclusion in the national program, the company will not only receive financial support but also benefit from valuable technical guidance in establishing a comprehensive industry chain standard system.
