In the village of Batou, Tingpang town, Taizhou's Sanmen county, an agricultural demonstration base is thriving thanks to the efforts of Han Deman, director of the Sanmen Research Institute at Taizhou College.

With Han Deman's visionary leadership, the once barren and unproductive hills have been transformed into a flourishing agricultural treasure, bringing increased incomes and prosperity to the local community.

Under Han's expert guidance, a diverse range of medicinal plants have been carefully cultivated, covering an area of approximately 400 mu (26.67 hectares). The expected total output value for this year is a staggering 6 million yuan ($820,932), showcasing the remarkable success of this transformation.
