A total of 36 companies from Taizhou have secured a spot on the 2023 Zheshang top 500 enterprises list, where Zheshang refers to Zhejiang businesspeople.

These 500 companies collectively generated an operating revenue of 1.24 trillion yuan ($170.03 billion) in 2022.

Alibaba has once again claimed the top spot on the list, with an impressive annual revenue of 864.54 billion yuan. Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group seized the second position with an annual revenue of 579.62 billion yuan, surpassing the long-standing second-place holder, WZ Group, which achieved an annual revenue of 576.55 billion yuan. Securing the fourth spot on the list was Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, reporting a revenue of 416.65 billion yuan.

Among Taizhou's companies, STO Express Co Ltd, Fangyuan Holding Group Co Ltd, and Tianshan Aluminum Group Co Ltd were among the top 100, with revenues of 33.67 billion yuan, 33.09 billion yuan, and 33.01 billion yuan, respectively.
