Taizhou in East China's Zhejiang province secured four investment deals with foreign companies during the ongoing China International Import Expo in Shanghai.
Among the signed agreements was one between the city's Huangyan district and South Korean company PNT, which aims to industrialize high-end OLED functional module materials.
Another notable deal was signed between the Taizhou Bay New Area and EDF (Beijing) Investment Co Ltd in the field of smart microgrids, under a framework agreement for investment cooperation.
Additionally, Wenling, a county-level city of Taizhou, inked a contract with WeView Technology for a 1 GW zinc-iron liquid flow battery energy storage project.
Eastern Air Logistics Co Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding with Antey for a five-year, $1 billion crab procurement partnership. Antey, being the largest exporter of crab products in Russia, will collaborate with Eastern Air Logistics and its subsidiaries. Damaiyu Port, situated in Yuhuan, a county-level city in Taizhou, will serve as one of the major ports for the future shipping of Russian king crabs.
