A business delegation from the county-level city of Yuhuan in Taizhou departed for Russia on Feb 3 to participate in an upcoming expo scheduled to run from Feb 6 to 9.

The delegation, consisting of nearly 100 representatives from 50 companies, is poised to occupy an extensive exhibition area spanning over 1,500 square meters, showcasing a diverse array of products, including HVAC equipment and bathroom valves.

"Russia's stainless steel distribution market is rapidly growing. Despite increasing market competition, the future looks promising. We must be proactive and explore new opportunities!" emphasized Huang Xufeng, general manager of Taizhou Haochuan Valve Co Ltd.

"Russia is our primary destination. But in April, we will also participate in an exhibition in Milan, Italy, and later in the year, we plan to visit Kazakhstan, with the goal of establishing a stronger presence in the foreign trade market," said Xu Yejian, general manager of Taizhou Gehua Fluid Control Co Ltd.

Helping companies expand their overseas markets and securing more orders is a pivotal strategy for stabilizing foreign trade, said an official at the Yuhuan bureau of commerce. The local government aims to organize over 100 delegations comprising more than 1,000 companies to participate in international exhibitions throughout the year.
