The event, filled with local specialties, generated over 1 million yuan ($139,107.68) in sales.
Vendors brought their best wares to the bustling summer market. Among them, the "Kelong Yihao" — a restaurant brand from Taizhou — drew crowds with offerings like lime-infused cold drinks and handmade yogurt, which proved to be a perfect match for the summer nights.
One of their standout items, preserved meat radish rice paired with smoked fish, became a crowd favorite.
Local flavors were also in the spotlight. The Huangyan district-based Wang Da Chu Restaurant served nostalgic regional dishes of the precinct, evoking childhood memories for many attendees.
Taizhou's signature wontons from Wu Mei Xian also attracted attention with their generous fillings and satisfying flavors.
The smoky aroma of grilled lamb skewers and barbecued wraps filled the air on the final night, drawing crowds and adding warmth to the summer evening.
