In the third episode of A Gift from Taizhou, Jehoshua Pascal from Dominica visited Taizhou Hongda Printing to discover how ordinary paper can be transformed into creative cultural products.

During his visit, he watched plain white cardstock evolve through precise printing and processing into exquisite designs. Among the finished works, Pascal chose the paper sculpture set Six Steeds, inspired by the Six Steeds of Emperor Taizong (Li Shimin) of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), for its lively craftsmanship and auspicious symbolism. He praised the company's creative ingenuity and its commitment to innovation and transformation in changing times.

Founded in 2004, Taizhou Hongda Printing specializes in paper manufacturing and printing. In 2023, the company began transitioning from traditional printing to the cultural and creative sector by launching the Paper Fun Club brand. Drawing inspiration from popular collectible toy companies, it uses imported virgin wood pulp cardstock and original characters to create paper-based art toys.

Hongda's product lines include the science illustration series, the mini dinosaur series, and the 3D bouquet series. Each combines traditional printing techniques with modern aesthetics, creating designs that appeal to younger consumers.
