Shanghai-headquartered Newgonow Group marked a new step in its intelligent manufacturing push on Nov 24 by shipping its 10th batch of nearly 100 unmanned logistics vehicles from its Taizhou-based new energy commercial vehicle division.
With this shipment, the company has produced more than 500 units this year, signaling that its unmanned vehicle business is entering a period of rapid expansion.
The driverless logistics vehicle program is a result of Newgonow Group's strategic partnership with Zelos. As one of the few enterprises qualified to manufacture new energy vehicles, Newgonow Group has leveraged more than 20 years of experience in vehicle development, supported by a mature new energy supply chain.
According to general manager Liu Xiang, the company applies vehicle-grade production and quality inspection standards to ensure a 100 percent pass rate for every unit leaving the assembly line. The company has now completed the full chain from research and development to mass production.
Driverless logistics vehicles have become a new growth engine for Newgonow Group. The company has secured multiple bulk orders in the logistics, e-commerce, and smart-city sectors, with production lines operating at full capacity to support rapid delivery. Output is expected to exceed 1,200 units by the end of the year.
