Taizhou in East China's Zhejiang province added six Authorized Economic Operator enterprises in 2025, bringing the city's total to 37, according to data released by Taizhou Customs on Dec 30.

Among the new additions is Taizhou Luxi Tools Co Ltd, based in Wenling, a county-level city in Taizhou. It is the second company in Wenling to obtain AEO status this year, marking a breakthrough after years without any AEO-certified firms in the city. The other local exporter, Qianjiang Group, was certified last month.

Luxi Tools is a leading exporter of pneumatic tools and spraying equipment in Wenling. AEO certification reflects comprehensive recognition of the company's internal controls, financial standing, legal compliance, and trade security practices.

AEO, advocated by the World Customs Organization, is designed to enhance both trade security and facilitation. Certified companies benefit from priority clearance, lower inspection rates, and less frequent regulatory checks. They also gain access to customs facilitation measures in countries and regions that have mutual recognition arrangements with China, improving efficiency across global supply chains.

The six new AEO-certified enterprises are located in Sanmen, Wenling, Xianju, and Luqiao, further strengthening Taizhou's foreign trade competitiveness.
