Haiyan Nuclear Power Town scenic spot covers 3.3 square kilometers and plays a key role in the innovative construction of nuclear cities in China.

Haiyan Nuclear Power Town, dubbed the base of China's nuclear scenic tourism, was designed for "red cultures" tourism and is integrated with surrounding popular tourism projects.

The scenic spot was included in the first batch of provincial characteristic towns in 2015.
