A visitor surnamed Huang, standing in front of a camera in a hospital in Jiaxing, connected his personal Alipay account with the internal information system of the hospital through a face-recognition system to complete the whole process of filing paperwork and registration in just 30 seconds, and he ended by paying the registration fee seamlessly.

In a consulting room in the hospital, through a face-recognition device on a table, a doctor accurately obtained the relevant medical history of the patient in a few seconds, and completed payment directly in the consulting room after the consultation.

Huang also easily received the doctor's prescription through the "facial scanning device" at the dispensing window.

"This face recognition feature is so convenient," Hung said. "In the future, if you forget your ID card, medical insurance card or even your mobile phone, it will be an effective alternative."
