Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, announced measures to help local companies resume operations during the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia, according to local media reports on Feb 8.

These measures include polices to help strengthen epidemic prevention and control efforts among industrial companies and support the stable and healthy development of local companies.

More than 100 officials from 12 municipal departments, including the technology bureau, the economy and information department, and the development and reform commission, have been dispatched to local companies above designated size to help solve issues related to resuming operations.

The local government also set up a new column at "96871", a local company service website, to share relevant policies, notices, and news related to epidemic prevention and control.

All of the website's personnel have been trained for epidemic prevention and control work and are prepared to offer guidance to companies seeking help online or by phone.

In addition, the Jiaxing government is encouraging local companies to send charter buses to retrieve employees currently outside the city. A total of 631 buses from 10 transportation companies are currently available.

As of right now, 334 industrial companies in Jiaxing have already started operating, with 72,380 employees returning to work.
