Jiaxing has ranked first in East China's Zhejiang province in terms of export growth for seven months in a row, local media reported on Nov 29.

In the first three quarters of 2020, the value of exports in online cross-border retail in Jiaxing reached 1.46 billion yuan ($221.93 million), a year-on-year increase of 75.1 percent, 51.8 percentage points higher than the provincial average.

Innovative supporting measures mainly attributed to the rapid growth of online cross-border retail exports in the city, including the bonded export of cross-border e-commerce companies, direct export of business-to-business (B2B), and the establishment of overseas warehouses by local cross-border e-commerce companies.

Besides, the online comprehensive service platform of China (Jiaxing) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone was put into service on Sept 30.

The platform has access to the cross-border e-commerce information system of the General Administration of Customs, which can streamline customs declarations of local companies and offer a real-time tracking service on customs declaration logistics to cross-border e-commerce companies.

Moreover, Jiaxing also houses several cross-border e-commerce industry parks in different districts.
