The First Hospital of Jiaxing in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, established a clinic on March 9 and invited renowned doctors from the Yangtze River Delta to offer local residents medical advice, local media reported.

The new clinic, located on the fifth floor of the hospital's outpatient service building, currently boasts 33 renowned medical teams and 67 medical experts from Shanghai and Zhejiang province, as well as 19 medical experts from the First Hospital of Jiaxing.

The patients of most clinical specialists can seek assistance at the clinic for issues related to vasculocardiology, nephrology, urinary surgery, respiratory medicine, rheumatology, and immunology.

On the first day of operations, five medical experts from Shanghai and Hangzhou were on duty, and many local patients came to seek medical advice.

The First Hospital of Jiaxing attaches great importance to YRD integration and cooperates with hospitals in Shanghai and Hangzhou.

During the COVID-19 outbreak last year, the hospital signed cooperation agreements with 15 State-level and provincial-level medical experts and teams.

Yao Ming, director of the First Hospital of Jiaxing, said that they will work to further enhance cooperation with renowned hospitals and medical experts in China in order to satisfy the varying medical needs of Jiaxing residents.
