Jiaxing in East China's Zhejiang province recently launched a program to select outstanding professionals, as well as innovative and entrepreneurial teams, local media reported.

Selected innovative and entrepreneurial teams can receive a maximum subsidy of 10 million yuan ($1.55 million), while selected innovative, entrepreneurial, and young talents can be granted a subsidy of up to 10 million yuan.

Talents aged 35 and below who are selected as leading elites will receive an extra five percent bonus.

Registered companies of the selected entrepreneurial teams or talents will enjoy rent-free or cash-back policies in the registered region for three years.

Startup companies established by selected talents or teams will be rewarded up to 2 million yuan if they go public at home and abroad.

Selected talents and three members of the selected teams who work full-time in Jiaxing will be provided with a talent apartment or housing allowance worth between 600,000 yuan to 1 million yuan.

Applications for the program will be accepted starting from April 30. Please log in to the Jiaxing Talents Online Cloud Platform and submit the application.

Outstanding professionals and teams in fields spanning competitive industries, such as next-generation information and communication technology, new materials, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, as well as the high-end fashion industry, emerging industries like integrated circuits, aerospace, artificial intelligence, life and health sciences, as well as leading consumer electronics, and new growth areas like rural revitalization, culture and art, as well as economic management are welcome to apply for the program.
