Jiaxing-produced Red Boat film shines at Shanghai film festival

The film Red Boat Where CPC was Born was screened at the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival on June 11, local media reported.

The film is centered on how the first Communist Party of China (CPC) members explored the future of China's development and founded the Party.

The movie was produced by the Zhejiang Film & TV (Group) Co in association with Dayou Film and the TV Center of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, Xuaxia Film, Jiaxing-based Chuxin Culture, and other companies from seven provinces to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.

More than 400 films about the founding of CPC were also broadcast at the film festival.
