Six Jiaxing athletes eye glory at Tokyo Games

Six athletes from Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, along with 425 other Chinese athletes, make up the Chinese delegation for the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, local media reported on July 14.
Jiaxing natives Wang Yilyu, Xu Huiqin, Gao Haiyan, Zhang Peng, Wang Fan, and Li Dongyin will compete on behalf of China in badminton, pole vault, sailing, cycling, beach volleyball, and canoeing respectively.
Wang Caixi, a weight lifter, was the first Jiaxing native to attend the Olympic Games on behalf of China, while Cao Mianying was the first and only Jiaxing athlete to win a medal at the Olympic Games.
