The Light of Internet Expo will be held in Wuzhen, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province in late September this year, according to a news briefing on July 30.

The four-day expo, an important part of the annual WIC, will have a variety of activities, including an exhibition, launch events for the latest products and technologies, as well as matchmaking meetings for professionals in digital economy.

The exhibition is expected to be held both online and offline and be focused on the latest achievements in digitalization reform. It will also showcase cutting-edge technologies and products in cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, block chain, and cyber security.

To date, nearly 200 companies from China and abroad, including Huawei, Tencent, Baidu, Epson and Infosys, have signed up for the event.

In addition, the finals of the "Straight to Wuzhen" Global Internet Competition and the Digital Economy Industrial Cooperation Conference will be held during the same time. Experts, government officials and representatives from manufacturing companies and human resources agencies will be invited to discuss the development of industrial talents in the digital era.
