Jiaxing greenways make 'most beautiful' shortlist

Two greenways in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province have been shortlisted among the most beautiful greenways in the province.
Jiuli River-Changshui River greenway in Jiaxing Economic Development Zone
The 6-kilometer-long Jiuli River-Changshui River greenway in the Yaojiadang Park area boasts comprehensive facilities such as parking lots, city lounges, and retail machines.
On both sides of the greenway, sandpits, artistic works, and climbing walls have been built and various flowers have been planted to provide leisure options to residents.
Statistics show that there are on average 1,000 residents who walk on the greenway every day. The figures can exceed 2,000 in summer.
Ziwei greenway in Haining

The 8.8-km Ziwei greenway is centered around Juanhu Lake and the Haining campus of Zhejiang University and includes five different themed sections for aerobic exercise, scenic natural views, and cultural exhibition.
In addition to the walkway and cycling path, the greenway also has with a 500-meter standard roller skating track.
