Jiaxing students set their eyes on WorldSkills Competition

Two students from the Jiaxing Technician Institute in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, are fighting for a spot in the WorldSkills Competition 2022 in Shanghai, local media reported on Nov 24.

The WorldSkills Competition inspires young competitors to take their abilities to new heights and is considered the gold standard of skills excellence.

Zhu Yaofei has made it through to the next stage of the qualification trials of the 46th WorldSkills Competition's mobile application development category after securing third place in China.

Lu Weijie from the information technology department of Jiaxing Technician Institute secured a top five spot at the qualification trials in the network system management category.

WorldSkills Shanghai 2022 will take place from Oct 12 to 17, 2022 and feature 1,400 competitors from over 60 countries and regions.

The Jiaxing Technician Institute has provided training to many talented professionals in mobile application development, network system management, information network cabling, integrated machinery and automation, and baking in preparation for the WorldSkills Competition.
