Twenty-three products made in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, have been recognized as the first such products in the province or in China by provincial authorities, local media reported on Dec 15.

This puts the city at second place in Zhejiang, which has a total of 189 recognized products.

The recognized products are required to have achieved major technological breakthroughs, have independent intellectual property rights and have no significant market performance.

The products include complete equipment, core components, control systems, base materials, and software systems.

The pump tower boasts higher security and service efficiency, as well as more eco-friendly fuel.

"Four such products have been delivered to our clients," said Lu Ningbo, deputy general manager of Yada. "Natural gas will be used widely in vessels in the future and the product is expected to have a broad market."

Another three products made in Jiaxing by Mitsubishi Power Dongfang Boiler Co Ltd, Precision Tsugami (China) Corp Ltd and TDG have also been recognized as the first such products in China.
