Jiaxing student paintings gifted to athletes of Winter Olympics

Paintings by students from Haining, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, will be presented as gifts to athletes and journalists at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, local media reported on Feb 7.

In August of last year, the Nanyuan Elementary School in Haining started collecting paintings related to winter sports for the second painting exhibition of Little Ambassadors for Cultural and People-to-people Exchanges between China and Foreign Countries.

The exhibition was held recently at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing to welcome the Beijing Winter Olympics. It showcased 400 works from around the country, including three by Nanyuan Elementary School students.

More than 60 paintings by Nanyuan Elementary School students have been displayed online and these paintings will be given away to participants of the ongoing Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
