Jiaxing enterprises nominated to be winners of China Patent Awards
Two enterprises in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province were shortlisted to be winners of the 23th China Patent Awards, according to the China National Intellectual Property Administration, local media reported on April 26.
Established in 1989, the China Patent Award is China's top award in the field of intellectual property. It is conferred by the China National Intellectual Property Administration and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
An invention by Jiaxing Jushi Group Co Ltd, a company specializing in glass fiber, was shortlisted to be the winner of the China Patent Gold Award.
Qinshan Nuclear Power Company, another company from Jiaxing, was nominated for the China Patent Excellence Award.
As of the end of 2021, Jiaxing had 42.7 invention patents, including 11.5 high-value ones, out of every 10,000 people in the city.
