As of June 30, a total of 8,392 Chinese companies were listed on 16 major global exchanges, an increase of 116 compared with the end of last year. The market value of these companies totaled 130.22 trillion yuan ($19.43 trillion).

In the latest list of China's top 500 listed companies by market value, 49 are from Zhejiang province. Specifically, seven are in Jiaxing.

The seven enterprises are Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co Ltd (126th), Hoshine Silicon Industry Co Ltd (159th), Wingtech Technology Co Ltd (204th), Flat Glass Group Co Ltd (292nd), Jushi Group Co Ltd (318th), Starpower Semiconductor Ltd (341st) and Zhejiang Satellite Petrochemical Co Ltd (355th).

Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co Ltd's ranking was 36 places higher than last year's. Its market value also increased by 12.69 percent.

In addition, more than 130 companies in the Yangtze River Delta region, including 58 in Shanghai, 22 in Hangzhou, 11 in Ningbo, and 7 in Jiaxing, Nanjing, and Wuxi, were included in the list.
